Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t mean the clubs have to gather dust in the garage! At Penrhos Park, we are firm believers that winter is one of the most rewarding times to stay active - provided you have the right place to warm up afterward.

Winter Golf in Ceredigion

There is a unique challenge to winter golf. The air is denser, the ground is different, and the scenery is spectacular. The rolling hills around us look stunning under a winter sky.

If you are planning to hit our 18-hole Championship course this week, here are a few tips:

  • Several thin thermal layers are better than one thick coat that restricts your swing.

  • Keep the blood pumping (and enjoy the views) by walking rather than taking a buggy.

  • Practice at our indoor driving range (complete with Trackman technology).

The Warm Up

After battling the elements on the course (or if you just want to skip the cold entirely), our leisure facilities can be your sanctuary.

December can be a stressful month of shopping and planning. Taking an hour to swim lengths in our indoor pool or decompress in the gym can do wonders for your mental health. It’s about maintaining balance before the indulgence of Christmas arrives.

Fuel Your Festive Spirit

Don’t forget to stop by our restaurant. Whether it’s a Sunday roast or our Christmas menu to warm the soul, or a light lunch after a gym session, we’ve got you covered.

Come for the golf, stay for the hospitality.
